The goal is to research valuable performance indicators for Show Jumping competitions that can be used to feeds into training and preparing for future competitions.
We develop a tool that allows us easily to transfer mobile videos – e.g. send by Whatsapp – into data. The tool is just for collection and analysis purposes. Additionally, the coach or rider needs to get good training/competition input.
For this, we develop a dashboard to display information of the Show Jumping competition that can be used by the coach/rider for improvements or training leads. We do this in an iterative rapid prototyping process together with Mans Buurman, who was the initiator of this project. He is KNHS national coach Eventing ponies and has jumped internationally for many years.
We will process competition videos of Mans for several months, building a data set that can give us more insight in the statistic value of the to be designed performance indicators.
