After finishing the trade mission with Limburg Paardensport to Wellington and Ocala in Florida, Jenny and Alain traveled to Loxahatchee, near Wellington, to meet Dr. Hilary Clayton, GURU of equestrian locomotion research, which is normally based in Michigan.

Besides all the interesting business opportunities explored, and collaborations discussed in Wellington and Ocala, this personal meeting with Dr. Hilary Clayton was something that was on the Bucket List of the EquInnoLab. team.

Dr. Hilary Clayton BVMS, PhD, DACVSMR, MRCVS – equestrian, veterinarian, author, researcher, and clinician — is known internationally for her ongoing contribution to the understanding of equine biomechanics particularly relating to performance and conditioning. Dr. Clayton’s studies in kinematics and kinetics, and locomotion have been extensively used as basis of EquInnoLab.’s research and provided valuable insight into the mechanics of equine sports, the interaction between rider and horse, for all services that we provide.

During our meeting we explained the ambition and values of EquInnoLab., and talked about her possibly being connected to our centre as a scientific steering group member. The details on this will follow in the future! We are exited and were very honoured to meet her.
