Development of evidence-based Talent Training Centres

Talents have, and are the future! That is why they are very important to us. The project aim is to get an official accreditation by the Dutch federation, based on our unique evidence-based way of working on talent identification and development.

One of the main values of our centre is the direct implementation of all research and developments into the training of athletes. Wanting to work together with the Dutch federation on assisting in talent recognition and development we are working towards an accreditation by the Dutch federation KNHS.

The goal of this project is to develop talent identification and development monitoring tools with the sport scientists team, and a development policy led by the responsible coaches Mans Buurman and Jenny Schreven. With this, the establishment of a Dressage and Eventing Talent Training Centre as part of EquInnoLab.’s training centre.

We believe that it is needed to better understand talent in the equestrian sport, and follow the lead of NOC*NSF where they urge the importance of measuring and monitoring talent development. Objectives of this project are:
