Today, part of our tech team tested the technical capabilities of our 3D marker analysis system. As we work with infrared beams that need to be reflected and then markers need to be detected by our algorithms, the day was very challenging. The sun was shining like crazy so these extreme conditions challenged our system, its settings and our algorithms to the fullest.

Every now and then you need to know if what you technically are designing and developing, actually works in real life. The entire reason that we are developing our own system is namely not that we are better than other hardware developers, but that it helps if you can design a system specifically for your type of use.

Our day was successful, and we now know what we need to tweak. We now still need manual control of multiple cameras. The next step: getting the system automated!
