Comparative work is very important in the world of science. While performing motion analysis / kinematic analysis, we want to present the findings in a standardised report.

Additionally, we want to be able to learn more from the field. To gather more data while providing services, we need to be able to process reports quicker. As an end-result we want to develop a Matlab tool that can be used for creating reports in a standardised manner, and outputting an .html file that can be shared with clients online.

Reporting is labour intensive due to the Word documents that have to be made manually. Besides that, the cooperativeness of the reports of athletes needs to be improved.

This is a new part of our tool development for athletes. By performing applied research and continuous customer feedback we come to an end deliverable, the methodology is rapid prototyping. The objectives are:

  • Design of standard data-driven performance indicators of the rider
  • Tool development
  • Evaluate the independency of rider data from their horse

Part of this project will be performed by our intern Laura Boonstra, of our partner Zuyd Hogeschool.
